Longacre is a summer program that prepares ambitious teenagers for long term success. Our 40th summer. Ages 8-18. Pennsylvania, United States.
Longacre is now hiring a summer staff photographer for marketing and PR purposes.
Dates
Negotiable. Minimum 10 days.
Pay
Negotiable (in the $5-10k range) and includes room and board.
Qualifications
Applicants must identify with Longacre’s underlying philosophy, i.e. be able to answer the question, “Why Longacre?”
Responsibilities
First responsibility will be taking shots in three categories:
- Smiling students
- Specific activities
- Iconic scenes that articulate Longacre’s core values: hardworking, inclusive, passionate, self-aware, critical thinking and committed.
These shots will primarily be candids and portraits. You must be able to build a quick rapport with our students. Sometimes you will be shooting in low light, sometimes landscapes. This position includes ongoing dialogue, brainstorming and strategizing with our directors.
Second responsibility will be taking shots for parents and posting to Longacre’s social media.
Third responsibility will be that of general staff, e.g. taking responsibility for students, contributing to the work of the community, etc.
